A big weekend for Sebastian Vettel
Redemption time for Seb, A year after a mistake that cost him last year's race, and started a string of errors that ruined his championship chances, Vettel is looking for a big weekend at his local track.
Three qualifying defeats to Charles Leclerc in a row and another wheel-to-wheel error in Silverstone suggests the German isn't in the greatest of form, but he said yesterday that he believes Ferrari have a "strong" chance of sealing their first F1 2019 victory here.
"It was a bit of a schoolboy error and really destablised last year's championship bid," says Brundle of Vettel's mistake last year.
"And I don't think he's quite got it back."

As well as running a special commemorative livery this weekend, Mercedes are also running significant upgrades, including a new bargeboard, as they look to build on their F1 2019 advantage.
"There are a lot of upgrades here," says Sky F1's Martin Brundle."Williams, Racing Point as well have half a new car.
"Mercedes' upgrade was sorted back in April, they knew that Red Bull were catching up."
As well as running a special commemorative livery this weekend, Mercedes are also running significant upgrades, including a new bargeboard, as they look to build on their F1 2019 advantage.

Given temperatures are supposed to drop over the weekend, some teams were suggesting yesterday that Practice One may just offer the most representative conditions when it comes to Sunday's race.

An early issue with the brakes for Pierre Gasly at the end of his installation lap, with the Frenchman back in the Red Bull garage now.
Gasly arrives in Germany on the back of his best weekend so far at Silverstone, when he finished fourth, in a performance which his team boss Christian Horner suggested resembled a 'different driver' to the season's earlier rounds.
Now the challenge for Gasly is to build on that momentum...

Ted Kravitz describes Mercedes' new upgrades as "Red Bull-esque" and it seems customer teams Racing Point and Williams have followed a similar route.
While Williams' need for improvements are obvious, Racing Point are also desperate - with only one top-10 finish in the last six races.

The German GP may be under serious threat - yet again - for 2020 but there's a decent early turnout here at Hockenheim - particularly helped out by Max Verstappen's Dutch army, who have again made the relatively short trip to a European race.
Just Sainz and Gasly with lap times so far in the opening quarter of an hour, with Mercedes still yet to take to the track with those W10 upgrades.
