Basically Maxey or Nurse told Rich Paul and he proceeded to leak it to Shams to make his clients look better and put it on Embiid. Or Nurse told his agent (Andy Miller) who works for Paul and they talked. That’s not to say Embiid isn’t at any fault here. He’s responsible for being on time and involved. Has to be a leader throughout the season. But leaking this doesn’t make the situation any better.

He is absolutely right. They had a private team meeting, within an hour that meeting was leaked and then inflammatory details were dribbled out over the next 36 hours. And everyone eats it up. Embiid receives more hate than any other player in the league. More hate than accused domestic abusers. More hate than guys who actually assaulted their teammates. More hate than a guy who has actively pushed multiple women to get abortions because he can’t wrap his dick. More hate than a guy who assaulted a teenager and flashed guns. And so on, and so on. But he is just supposed to sit and shut up. It’s unreal. Meanwhile Jalen Hurts gets shot for being “too stoic” and “not having enough emotion”. You can’t win.
