Q: What was the difference in between the third quarter for you guys as compared with the first half
A: Umm, we made shots and played defense

A: It’ basketball…
Q: Season high 22 point off the bench for Gafford that’s the most for any bench player in season for you guys, jut kind of intensity that bring to the game tonight.
A: Yeah, I thought he was great on the both end defense and offense, his ability to change shots, rebound the ball and then offensively played through him in the post and he delivered. So I thought he was very very good, I thought his energy too you know was high for u the whole game and so again we need that, especially coming of the bench.
Q: You see a difference in how he kind of approaches the game when he’s coming off the bench versus he starting, how he’s able to take advantage of matchups?
A:uh I think he’s you know in the post when we started to play through him I think he took advantage of that at a high level but I think also give us a second opportunities and on the defensive in hi ability just to play the pick and role and not give up the lob, I thought he was very good and then one shot I thought again they didn’t, Spurs didn’t shoot the ball well tonight and that’s you know when teams don’t shoot the ball well that means there’s opportunity for rebound and I thought we did a really good job rebounding the ball.
Q: What do you got on Jaden Hardy tonight?
A: Yeah he was great on that road trip and again he had carryover from that road trip tonight and he was good getting us organized offensively and defensively he was competing
Q: Coach Kidd, you’ve now seen Gafford and Lively both start some games what have you thought of each of their performances recently and what goes into this decision of which one of those bigs you start?
A: They both have played well as starters, they both played well off the bench and so we’ll see how Lively handles these next couple games as a starter and we’ll figure out who’s going to start after that nut Lively has been great, Gafford has been great, they both have sacrificed they both can start. If it was the 80s we would let them both play at the same time but unfortunately it’s not the 80s so only one can play and right now Lively is the starter.
Q:Was PJ’s minute kept 20 mins?
A: It was 19 mins

Q:Do you know if it changes going into tomorrow or is that too quick of a turnaround?
A:I kind of hear too fast to get information from everybody else so we’ll see tomorrow, how he feels and we’ll see if he’s able to go tomorrow. We was just happy to get him back on the floor and I thought his minute we good both on both end
Q: what were your thoughts on new jerseys?
A: I don’t know…I don’t know what our color schemes are…I thought we are san antonio spurs for a minute, with the gray, I didn’t see any blue or any green in there so… but it’s the city uniform edition right, so it’s got to mean something for Dallas to be gray, but I got to get the information on the jersey of why it’s gray, I’m not involved in the design but they do look cool they’re cool.
Q: What did you see from Maxi starting at the four spot at the last couple of games.
A: Maxi has been great, starting at the four just the rebound and the energy he’s taking shots when he’s open but he’s been great playing that starting role for us also coming off an injury and coming back and his role will change as we get healthy here and we get some guy off of restriction off minute restriction but I think when you look at the four we’re doing the same thing at the center position with the four we’re letting the guys go for 3 or 4 minutes and then taking them out until we can get past the restrictions, that’s just the way it’s going to be right now and it’s going to probably be choppy where offensively we’ll struggle some and defense will struggle just become the short amount of time guy are having.
