Hey Stevie, it's been 10 years since I heard ur name for the first time. I was 10 back then watching the WC. Never thought I'd become a Liverpool fan bc of the players I came across that year: Agger and Suarez etc.
But I was not a Liverpool fan then. It was after Bayern grabbing the triple in 2013 that I started to support Liverpool, bc of the history like Istanbul and bc of u. Then we witnessed that magic season with pity.
I do not think I've watched as many games of u playing as most JRs here who support Liverpool but still ur style and mentality echoes with me in a way that attracted me to support Liverpool. The past 7 years during which I've supported Liverpool has coincidentally resembled my life in reality and that makes the bond between me and Liverpool even stronger.
I remember when I first watched your clips. Those powerful shots and skilful passes have always given me goosebumps. I also enjoyed watching u leading Liverpool back on track. I guess I should say thank you to you and Liverpool for giving me life lessons whist I was an adolescent. The spirit encourages me to keep going and and giving everything. Now that I kinda achieved my goal for now and Liverpool has won the league, it's time to settle down after the ecstasy and keep on pursuing haha.
So a big thank you to you and wish you all the best during the pandemic. It is hard times so I hope you and your family and friends are all safe.
