"Looking at this you'd say Mercedes are pretty confident they are not going to run the soft tyre in the race," says Jenson Button with Hamilton and Bottas running round on the mediums.

"Ferrari and Red Bull must be as they are looking at it over a long run here."

Daniel Ricciardo has returned to the paddock after his Renault ground to a halt on circuit a little while ago.

Renault have said they will start investigations as soon as they get the RS19 back, with no sign as to what exactly went wrong yet.

The Red Bull driver has been on the mediums and, last time around at least, his lap time actually wasn't too bad.

Hamilton's race pace impresses Sky pundits
"Lewis' pace has been fantasdtic on his long runs. He has been on the medium tyres, but then so has everyone else," says Jenson Button as this P2 session reaches its conclusion.

"Lewis' pace has been supreme, but it's never going to be that far in front come Sunday," adds Paul di Resta.

He's averaging 1:30.9 over a decent stint on the medium tyres.
