I was very sceptical when we signed Danny Welbeck from United and I don’t feel like he ever did enough to prove my doubts wrong. I think it’s insane he managed to play for champions league clubs for so long because he really has never been at that level.
[–]Choccybizzle 412
He is the poster boy for ‘well he’s a great athlete, we can teach him football.’ British scouts probably came in their pants when they saw Welbeck as a boy.

As a Valencia CF fan, I'd say Gon?alo Guedes. He is not a bad player but he isn't worth even half as much as we paid for him, I personally prefer Cheryshev. We could have signed Oyarzabal instead.

Otamendi. I don’t think he should be at a team competing to be one of the best in Europe.
And Lovren for the same reasons. Both can do a job but due to the brain farts they have often, they need to be somewhere else.
In every compilation for a striker you’ll see Otamendi diving in and watching the striker run past him from the floor
I still remember and get a chuckle out of this quote from a NYT article leading up to the 2018 world cup:
"It's a shame that a team built around Lionel Messi in attack has to be built around Nicolas Otamendi in defense."

Ross Barkley. Never saw the hype even when he was young. He has 33 caps for England and I think that's 33 caps too many. Surprised despite Chelsea's stacked midfield that he still gets games.
Midfield isn’t that stacked considering all of our injuries and suspensions at times. With a fully fit midfield he wouldn’t get too many games

He has one good month every season, constantly kills attacks by doing some stepovers just to cut it back to the fullback ,killing momentum. The man also completely disrespected the chain of command by disrespecting Conte on Instagram and never gives a damn when he comes on from the bench
lucas fucking vasquez
the only good thing about him is that he loves the club with all his heart and maybe tracks back nice , but other than that i dont even see him playing for midtable la liga sides , let alone real madrid
But everyone thinks he’s average. It’s the fact that he starts that gets on everyone’s nerves. It just shows how bad Bale and other our wingers have been that he actually used to start games. However he has come up with some big moments for us too. We all know he isn’t the greatest player but like you said, he plays his heart out.

as a dortmund fan I want to give my opinion on all the liverpool players mentioned. not saying that i agree but a lot of players look better under klopp than they actually are. it is his style of play. when he was our coach tons of players played way above their lvl and when he left they were never even close to that again. for example i wonder how good trent and robertson are without klopp because i remember schmelzer and piszczek under klopp. our wingers as well, though it is safe to say that salah and mane are just world class. i am surprised with the firmino comment though, now if liverpool got a different maybe better scoring striker I still think he could easily play as one of the 3 midfielders behind the attacking 3. he might even be better there.

Fucking Sabitzer. Ugly ass hair fool who can hit a good free kick. My Sabitzer hate is old and deep-rooted. This guy couldn't connect a fucking pass two seasons ago. Now his whole team is a cracked up bunch of French 20 year old FM wonder kids of course he'll look like a good fucking player.
No way, your hatred obscures your vision! It’s god damn impressive, how good Sabitzer has made the switch from a winger to a deep lying midfielder. Never would’ve thought he had this vision and composure in him, honestly his last games where incredible. Not to mention that his stats (15 goals 8 assists in 35 games) are effin good, ESPECIALLY considering he played part of the season a lot deeper

+1 on the tunnel vision part. People who say he's a versatile player and can play on the left simply haven't seen him play on the left.
He's never impressive whenever I watch him. Missing a lot of chances, tunnel vision, not able to get past anyone from the left side unless he has a ball played in deep. A pace merchant in my book, and he'll have a hard time in any other team than Leipzig.

Same with Ronaldo, people think that he's the GOAT but I don't think he's ever had a beard, at least Messi has had a beard so he can be in the conversation.
Ronaldo can jump pretty fucking high though. I think everyone should just be glad we live in an era where two players can be this close to be the GOAT instead of just comparing who can bleat the best.

Anyone said Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain yet?
Very likeable lad and only scores bangers, But he's 26 and hasn't really ever performed at a consistently high level, He's had a couple nasty injuries but gets given too much of a pass in my opinion.
I've watched a lot of matches where he was absolutely dreadful. He literally is the worst man on the pitch whenever he played for City, yet he still gets lauded because of his price tag and social media antics. The fact that even Guardiola isn't sold on him, but other people on r/soccer downvote me every time I point out how shit he is, is what's annoying.
Anyone who disagrees, can you please give a nice of run of play of him where he doesn't just awkwardly run with his head down and blast the ball without even thinking ?

Zaha. He's too much of an idiot to be worth the money for a top six team.

】Broken_Pikachu 310 指標 1 天前
Lukaku. No matter how many he scores, ill never rate him.
Dog shit touch, awful dribbler, can't pass, spends most of his time on the right wing trying to cross to somebody half his size and defenders just stand off him now waiting for his shitty touch. No matter how many he scores, ill not accept that he doesn't perform against big teams, costs possession over and over again and kills more attacks than any player we have in the team.
Killing me knowing I've got to deal with this concrete boot fuck for at least 4 years.
Sterling. As good as he can be, he was never a top 10 player in world football. Too inconsistent and is very dependent on good players around him.
He’s scored a lot of goals in the past 3 seasons but his shooting constantly astounds, confuses and frustrates me. He seems to scuff/miss hit every shot, aimed right at the keepers’ knees 90% of the time
