🇦🇷Vamos gente! Sigamos un poco más! Va a empeorar antes de empezar a mejorar pero tenemos que seguir haciendo el esfuerzo. Un fuerte abrazo virtual para todos!
Please my friends, keep practicing #SocialDistance. It's the only proven way to improve this situation. It's gonna get worse before it gets better but we have no alternative! Let's do it!
But that doesn't mean the players are not still hard at work staying in shape during this pandemic.
Spurs staff are ensuring the players are staying in shape and proving them their needs during the crisis.
"I have been living in “quarantine” for two weeks now. I’m going out to only take my dog for a walk," said Belinelli in an interview with EuroHoops. "We do our grocery shopping online, and I’m working out at home."
Said Belinelli: "I want to also thank the Spurs staff, that is absolutely present and ready to accommodate our every need, by bringing us food and all the necessary tools to continue our sports routine as much as possible.
I hope you’ll celebrate a great moment in Spurs history and join us.”
Spurs Sports and Entertainment CEO RC Buford is joining us tonight to watch Game 7 of the 2005 NBA Finals streaming LIVE on the @NBA’s social channels at 7pm CT!
RC: It was an amazing experience to share that with the city of San Antonio & the Spurs Family. The respect and the passion that our fans shared through the Championship & the Championship celebration is what separates our community from others. The Riverwalk and the way we set up the Championship celebration on the Riverwalk was really a unique way to celebrate. Our fans have always been really respectful of the community. They enjoy a Championship well
RC on @manuginobili: I'm not sure I've ever seen a player with better instincts to be in the right place at the right time. He was like that when I first saw him in 1997.
RC: I think as much as anything, the defense by Detroit was terrific. Both teams were built on defense. Rasheed Wallace, Ben Wallace, Chauncey, and the size of Tayshaun and Rip, McDyess were big factors having to play against.
RC on David Stern: As great as our game is and as great as the personalities of our players are, without the Commissioner, none of this would have ever been possible.
RC: If you look back at all of our Championships, every podium was full of international flags.
RC: Games 5, 6, and 7 were really close. There are very few blowouts in Game 7's, just because you know each other so well.At this point in time in Game 7, the rotations were really slimmed down. We played 7 players, and they played 7 players. You wouldn't see that anymore.
Chauncey was as hard of a matchup as there was at the guard position. When he got to Detroit and with this group, he became an elite leader and competitor. He was an amazing floor general who did a great job of controlling his team. At this point, Pop switched Bruce onto Chauncey. It was a turning point on their effectiveness from here on out. @Bowen12 really did a good job at making things hard for Chauncey.
RC: Tim is a once in a generation-type player to have in your program.
People stood the entire game. Even the fans behind their bench, there was standing room only.
RC: I think @SteveKerr was sitting with Danny Ferry and me during this game. I think Steve said, "I wouldn't pay to watch many people, but I'd pay to watch @manuginobili
