Real Madrid will offload Gareth Bale this summer
Gareth Bale is not part of Real Madrid’s plans and will move on in the summer transfer window.
Since Zinedine Zidane’s return to the club, there have been question marks over the forward’s future.
According to MARCA, a decision has been made and Bale will exit the Santiago Bernabéu this summer.
The club are keen on a sale but a loan move with the option to buy the Welshman hasn’t been ruled out.
Bale has been whistled by the home support in each of his last two games on home turf in what has been a difficult season.
His salary does remain a stumbling block to suitors, with the ex-Tottenham man set to earn €17m in each of the next three seasons.
That is why a loan move could materialise in order to get Bale’s salary, or a large part of it, off the books, as they did with James Rodríguez’s Bayern Munich move.
Manchester United are labelled the likeliest club to make a move, while Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich could also be interested.
