Fucking hell, he's being grilled like he's a war criminal. We love tearing people down in the UK.

Personally think a fine and an apology is enough. Spitting is vile but shouldn't cost a man his job. Both parties are in the wrong. I just feel sorry for the girl, she's the one who has to deal with the country calling her Dad a bellend and will probably be teased at school as being the girl who got a faceful of Carragher's drool.

The bloke being a prick is what started it all. You could hear her at the beginning trying to stop him from doing it and then when she says she got spat on, instead of stopping recording, he starts narrating it as if he’s already seeing the attention and ‘fame’. Not that he deserves to be spat towards, but that bloke does come across as a bit of a cunt let’s be honest.

Literally no-one has doubted that the unidentified driver was being an arsehole.
Carragher spat at a 14 year old girl.
I've found some of the reactions on here to be utterly insane. The Dad is a prick, yes, but the orders of magnitude by which Carragher's reaction was worse needs to be taken into account. Keep your window up, look straight ahead.
Plenty of people will have been in somewhat similar situations - some knobhead on the road is pissed off with you in some way. It's happened to me plenty of times - one bloke in an Audi once stopped on a dual carriageway in front of me because I beat him off the lights. Never did I feel the urge to spit at him. Absolutely mental.

Suspend him for a few weeks then be done with it. Don't blow it out of proportion.

just let the girl hock one back at him and call it a day

This is justice

How can you get so wound up that you spit on someone....

Footballers in general aren't the most civilized people around. Exceptions are a given.

Suspend him till next season. It’ll be forgotten about by then.
Great pundit but he must be punished.

Give it giggseh til the end of the season

Carra fucked up, sometimes emotions get the best of you. Would prefer he gets reprimanded not kicked off, these two are great together and I enjoy both of their insights
[–]【Arsenal】Jayveesac 458 points 17 hours ago
Subtly, Neville just wants Carra to never hear the end of it from him.

Carra had Valencia and now Gary has this

N: "The players were absolutely knackered, but he couldn't make them perform even if they were completely fit."
C: "Reminds me of a certain Valencia manager eh, Gary?"
N: "Oh, you mean the one that spat at a 14 year old girl?"
N: "That's what I thought."

The video was just sad, 2 grown men making utter fools of themselves.
But Sky didn't fire Kirsty Gallacher when she got caught drink driving so I don't think they will fire Carragher, though he's a bigger name and will garner much more attention so I guess public/media pressure may play a role......

Gutted he's not going to be on MNF tonight, was looking forward to some light ribbing from Gary.
I really like Carra as a pundit, wouldn't want something so stupid end his time at sky.

"Here we look again closely , the delivery was just perfect, i dont know what the dad was doing up there , he should've been ready! he should'v e been ready. But all credit to Jamie, those tight cheeks just held so much gosh that i suspect that the victims were themselves impressed at the quantity."

I agree. I know it's dangerous to give someone the benefit of the doubt because you like them, but I'd happily let Carragher get away with an apology to the girl herself and some community work.
He seems like a generally nice guy and I'm appreciative of the fact that sometimes people make mistakes.
[–]【Manchester United】92Grapes 353 points 18 hours ago
Community work? An apology is enough.
[–]【Arsenal】Jayveesac 194 points 18 hours ago
He should also enroll in oral hygiene training
