Anthony Davis is averaging 37.4/14.6/2.8 steals and 2.9 blocks per game over this 9 game winning streak. Where does this stretch of games rank all time?
There can't be many 10ish game stretches much better than this one right? He's also doing this on 62% TS which somehow makes it even more ridiculous.

For how many games? You kinda need to mention that when talking about streaks

Peak Stockton was so absurd. I think a lot of people nowadays look at his career numbers and kind of shrug, not thinking about the fact that he didn't start for his first 3 years and played until he was 40, so his career numbers betray just how absolutely filthy he was both offensively and defensively in his prime.
As an example, in that 9-year span in which he lead the league in assists every season, he averaged 16/13 on 62% TS and 3 steals a game. He also had a ridiculous 3.85:1 assist:turnover ratio, which to put into context, is about 35% better than Magic's ratio over his peak.

The barber shop I got to plays 90s finals matches all the time, given the wait time I generally get to watch most of a match, and aside from MJ being MJ the thing that stands out most was Stocktons ability to see and execute a pass. He'd be running full tilt at the rim, gets blocked out but without missing a beat throws a pass to a player you didn't even see.
Stockton is underrated, especially since people have a hard time quantifying his defensive skills outside of steals.
Is Stockton really underrated? People on here frequently contend that he's the second best point guard of all time, which I would have found surprising in the 90s.

Lebron '13: 30.4 - 7.8 - 7.1, 76.7 TS%, 9-0 W/L
Kobe '03 had 9 40+ point games in a row

77% TS wow
Anyone who says lebron is better now then on the heat is crazy. Dude put up this efficiency and was a Top 3 defender in the league, just can’t do that anymore.
[–]Spurssonickarma 42
Pre-Heat, I think it's fair to say he was better athletically.
Post-Heat, I think it's fair to say he is better mentally.
But his Heat days were where his athletic and mental aspects met at a summit. It's almost like people don't remember what those Heat teams were like.

9 40+ in a row mother of god

He’s averaged 40 PPG for a month at least three times in his career. I know of once in 2002-2003 and twice in 2005-2006.

11 40 point games out of 13 games if you include the previous four. Insane.

Ok I did some research and there are a lot of insane stretches.
NOLA CP3 had 27/14/3 on 66% TS with 2.8 steals and 2.5 turnovers.
MJ obviously wins out with a 35/11/11 9 game stretch with 3 steals on 61% TS, however his team record during those games was 3-6
Steph had a 10 game stretch in 2016 of 37/6/7 on 55/54/88 shooting with a 9-1 record

2016 Steph is some video game shit

2016 Steph was some fun stuff. Even my non basketball watching friends were talking about him. Its like the entire season was "he's shooting from WHERE?!"

I remember 2K had to find a way to let him make more parking lot distance shots without breaking the game for everyone else, and how they had him at 99 overall for a day. Probably still wasn't as good as real life.

This is a classic "when you look up the stats of course Michael Jordan" kind of stat.
10 games of the 1988-89 season, Triple doubles in 9/10 games (7 straight) averaging 34 ppg, 11 ast, 11 reb, 3 stl, on 51% fg.
This was when Doug Collins switched MJ over to point guard, but after this stretch Michael asked to be back at the 2 guard because he didn't like playing the 1.
Kobe averaged 45.5pts 6 reb and 4 ast, 1.8 Stls while shooting 61.5 TS% for 10 games. He has several streaks that look a lot like this through the years.
[–][LAL] Kobe BryantDongsquad420BlazeIt 70
Like this 15 game stretch where he averaged 43.4/5.9/4.0 starting with the game where he outscored the Mavs by himself through 3 quarters and ending with the game where he scored the second most points ever.
or this 2003 9 game streak where he averaged 43/5.2/3.4/2.5 stls/1 blk, or this 9 game streak where he averaged 44.7/5/4 on 60 TS%.
#1 is MJ - He had a 43-8-5-3 stretch on 58.7% shooting with less than 2 turnovers a game, in 9 games (went 8-1)
I think when you consider the wins and surrounding talent AD's recent run should probably be in the top 10 somewhere though.
Wilt averaged 50-25 across an entire season...
It's so hard to compare Wilt's statistical dominance to the modern game. No doubt he'd be dominant in any era but the numbers are just so ridiculous I don't know how to assess them compared to streaks like MJ or AD.
